President

Tony, Sharon, and their three boys have been Members since 2001 and enjoy the programs that will lead to being active for life. Tony is a Wealth Manager with Yung Geris Group at Merrill Lynch and Sharon is publisher of Tischer Creek Living, a social publication for Congdon Park and Northland Estates. Tony and Sharon are passionate in leaving our community stronger than where it started.

Vice President / Golf Committee Chair

I am Brian Burcar Annis. We have been proud members here at Northland for 12 years. My Family consists of my wife Kati and children; Caleb, Grace, Elin, and Magnolia. My businesses in Duluth are; Trillium Services, Inc. An agency that provides services to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, Great Lakes Sober Living, a community based company that provides safe and structured Recovery Residences for men and women recoverIng from alcohol and drug addiction, Lake Effect Vapor, Inc, a retail establishment that offers tobacco harm reduction and premium CBD products for sale. And two real estate holding companies Paragon Holdings, LLC ale GEM Holdings, LLC. This will be my first time serving on Northlands Board of Directors and I am grateful and honored for the opportunity to serve.

Secretary / Membership and F&B Committee Chair

Patty McNulty is a lifelong Duluthian and nearly lifelong member of Northland Country Club. Her family joined Northland when she was 5. She grew up swimming at the pool, enjoying the old traditional Fourth of July celebrations at Northland and even took ballroom dance classes here when she was in 7th and 8th grade. The dance classes didn't help her with her lack of rhythm. She's an active golfer with other Northland women golfers - who keep a sense of humor about the game and don't take it too seriously. Throughout the years Patty has made great friendships through Northland and enjoys the social aspect of membership. Patty serves as the Food and Beverage Chair on the Board of Directors and hopes to help support the Club to become an important part of the lives of all members and their families.

Director / Green Committee Chair

Ben Altonen has been a member of NCC for 6 years. Currently he is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Superior Choice Credit Union. He grew up in Duluth and attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he has his degree in Accounting. Ben and his wife, Angie, have one daughter, Alexandria. He is excited to serve on the board and help make a difference for the membership.

Director

Becky and Andy Wheeler have 2 kids. They joined Northland Country Club back in 2005 when they moved to Duluth. Becky is a project manager with Workwell Prevention & Care, and Andy a partner and CFP at Wheeler Associates. Becky and her family enjoy tennis, golf, theater, and exploring the local outdoors with their black lab Lina.

Director / Pool & Tennis and House Committee Chair

Northland has become a second home for my family. My two children Nora and Greta, and my husband, Matt, love participating in all aspects of the club. Becoming a board member and chair of the pool and tennis committee has been a great way to give back to the place I love so dearly. My goal in serving the members is to ensure we promote and use all of the club's assets so members can maximize their membership. My professional life keeps me busy as the Head Coach of the UMD Women's Tennis Team, Head Coach of the Hermantown Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis Team, as well as working with Hermantown Community Education. In my personal life, I enjoy new adventures and discovering new activities. Between beekeeping, grape growing, hiking and taking my girls on adventures, we find ourselves at NCC as often as possible.
